The 82nd Academy Awards was a true return to Hollywood Glamour!  The stars shinned with exceptional elegance and grace down the red carpet!  This year’s makeup trends were a range from the classic smoky eye to bold pink lips.  Here’s the hottest trends you can get a jumpstart on to prepare for Prom or to just glam up your everyday!

Hair: The favorite choice among the stars like Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet was a beautiful side part with sweeping hair to the side. Another fabulous look was the popular updo with added volume seen on Miley Cyrus, Kristen Stewart and Penélope Cruz.
Dresses: The stunning gowns that draped the hottest celebrities were the classic strapless and single over the shoulder dresses in enchanting champagne and blush hued palettes. Beautiful blossoming dresses in floral patterns also made a presence on stars like Maggie Gyllenhaal and Rachel McAdams.
Accessories: Keep it simple was the overall theme of this year’s Oscar, many dresses were accented with stunning cuffs and sparkling chandelier earrings. The neck was kept bare to accentuate the beautiful décolletage on many of the strapless gowns.
Skin: Flawless porcelain skin with sculpted brows and barely there soft pink cheeks took center stage at this year’s Oscars. Glowing dewy skin gave a healthy radiance on the cheekbones with the softly added shimmer. Product recommendations: Studio HD Powder, Studio Shimmer Palette
Eyes: Mesmerizing eyes was dominant on the red carpet, from added sparkling eyeliner seen on Monique and Sara Jessica Parker, to the staple smoky eye seen on Faith Hill, Kristen Stewart and Diane Kruger. Dramatic eyeliner paired with glittering neutral eyeshadow like that on Miley Cyrus was a perfect paring of soft and bold. False lashes created picture perfect eyes to add depth and volume. Product recommendations: Mineral Eyeshadow, Liquid Eyeliner and Hollywood Eyelashes
Lips: One hot trend making a statement was the bright pink lip seen on Sandra Bullock, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Vera Farmiga. The classic matte red lip like that on Charlize Theron and Cameron Diaz was a beautiful complement to the softer more natural facial makeup. And of course the natural blush and nude lips was ever so popular paired with dramatic eyes. Product recommendations: Mineral Lipstick in Natural Nymph, Studio Lip Stain in Red Carpet, Plumping Lip Glaze in Fire Coral
