Let me preface this post by saying, I adore Emma Stone! I’m a fan of her films, and she has always struck me as so down-to-earth, with such a natural radiance of inner beauty. This recent look of hers made me so happy as a fellow green-eyed gal! While it’s natural to assume that wearing green eyeshadow is bound to make green eyes pop, I find it can be difficult to pull off. The temptation is to instantly go with a bright lime color, which can be way too overwhelming. Instead, try a subdued, moss green shade. It works wonders, as Emma so beautifully demonstrates here.

My latest favorite shadow for this look comes from our Essential Holiday 32 Piece Eyeshadow Palette. I use the green shade, third from the left on the bottom row of the palette on its own, but you can also mix it with one of the black or slate gray shades to change the tone easily. Plus, all of these shades have just the right amount of shimmer to them, they’re far from glitter shadows, but they have just enough to add a touch of holiday glamour to your look! Green eyeliner is another must for this look. Apply our Studio Cream Eyeliner in Metallic Olive along the lashline and inner rim with an eyeliner brush like our Studio Small Angled Brush for a subtle enhancement. Or, if you want to amp up the shimmer, apply our Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil in Twinkle Teal in the same spots.

I love the coral tone in the rest of her face that keeps the heavy eyes very balanced, and plays off her fair skin beautifully. Try our Studio Blush in Candid Coral on the apples of the cheeks, using the Studio Angled Blush Brush to really define your face. To keep your blush looking more like a natural flush, pop a small dab of it on the tip of your nose and chin, and in the center of your forehead as well. Top your lips off with a coat of our Mineral Lipstick in Cool Coral to finish it off.

What’s your favorite eye-enhancing look?
